I Tested 7 Best AI Profile Picture Generators

In this post, I will show you the best AI profile picture generators based on my results.

I spent over $500 on these so that you don’t need to.

By the way, here’s an example of what you can expect from these tools:

But now, let’s jump into it!

Disclaimer: This post has affiliate links at no cost to you.

    1. BetterPic

BetterPic is my favorite AI profile picture generator right now.

It creates realistic images in different places, clothes, lighting, and more.

Also, the results look exactly like you.

BetterPic also gives you epic customization options, especially the human editing feature, where a real editor fixes your photos.

    👉 Try BetterPic

    My Experience

First, sign up here and read these image instructions.

Tell your name, eye color, hair color, and basic information like that.

    Pick a bunch of styles:

Choose three styles to make the results as versatile as possible.

Remember to read the instructions on how to upload the right types of images. This is important because this way the AI learns what you look like and will be able to produce your profile pictures better.

Here are my real profile pictures I sent to the AI:

Then, after all my images were accepted, it was time to create the headshots.

Here’s what I got after 30 minutes or so:

    Pretty freaking cool, huh?

In fact, I have one of these as my LinkedIn photo right now.

Here you can see a bunch of these images as bigger photos to better see how sharp and high quality they are.

    Those are my favorites.

But please, keep in mind that this tool is not always perfect.

Most AI-generated profile images look good, some are decent, and a few miss the mark.

For example, this seems to be a bit off for me:

However, as I said, you can fix some of the issues with the AI profile picture editing features.

Also, you can request a real human edit from the team:

This is very practical for teams especially.

Nonetheless, this is my favorite AI headshot and profile picture generator.

    👉 Try BetterPic

    Pros:

    • Quicker than other similar tools
    • Realistic pictures with just 8 inputs required
    • Easy to use
    • AI editings

    Cons:

    • Not instant — 25 minutes might feel slow to some
    • Some flaws (odd eyes, imperfect teeth), like other AI tools

    Pricing

    • Basic: $35 (one time)
    • Pro: $39 (one time)
    • Expert: $79 (one time)

    2. Portrait Pal

Portrait Pal turns your selfies into epic, ultra-realistic profile pictures. One of my favorite AI profile picture maker tools out there for sure.

Let me show you my results!

    👉 Try Portrait Pal

    My Experience

Here are my real images that I sent to the AI:

And here are the AI-generated profile pictures:

    ChatGPT said:

Epic, right? These look super realistic and professional! Most are spot-on, though a few have minor artifacts.

Want your own AI-generated profile pictures?

Head to PortraitPal and click Create Your Headshots Now!

I’ll walk you through the process right now.

Once you’re on the site, just sign up.

The tool asks a few questions—gender, eye color, hair color, etc.—to better capture your look.

Answer carefully for the best results.

Next, check the image upload rules—good lighting, clear visibility, and no one else in the frame.

This helps the AI learn your face for the most realistic results—you’re essentially training it.

To upload, just drag your images into the view.

    Here are my input images:

No need for professional shots—just upload regular selfies from your camera roll. That’s the whole point of these generators!

After uploading, just wait—it all happens on the servers. You can even close the window and come back later.

Once processing is done, you’ll get an email with a link to your photos.

    Here are mine:

    Pretty cool, right?

The vintage style and vibe in the pictures are cool to me, but for some, this might feel a bit strange.

Nonetheless, these look amazing and really close to me! The only major downside? I sometimes look a bit younger than I am—but hey, AI isn’t perfect.

    Give it a try

    Pros

    • Quick: Profile pictures ready in 30–45 minutes—way faster than waiting for a photographer.
    • Realistic: Incredibly lifelike results. My grandma couldn’t even tell they were AI-generated!
    • Variety: Offers a wide range of images with different settings, lighting, and outfits.

    Cons

    • User-Friendly: The tool is easy to use, with features like uploading images twice and a more flexible reject policy.
    • No Editing: It doesn’t have in-tool editing—only viewing and downloading. For editing options, check out the next tool on the list.

    Pricing

    • Starter: $35 (one-time)
    • Basic: $45 (one-time)
    • Premium: $75 (one-time)

    To Take Home

Portrait Pal creates incredibly realistic profile images, and I’m really happy with most of mine.

With a wide range of styles and poses, I’m amazed at how advanced AI headshot generators are already. They’re not perfect, and some images might be slightly off, but overall, it’s awesome!

    Here are my input images:

    Real images of myself.

Here are the AI-generated profile pictures:

I mean, c’mon! Isn’t that amazing? Looks super realistic—just like me!

One feature I love about The Multiverse AI is its custom image generation.

I asked it to create images of me in a white shirt, and here’s what it came up with:

    Once again, that’s so cool.

In total, I think I got over 100 profile pictures from the AI.

One issue you might run into is images being cropped too close to your face.

Luckily, the team has addressed this—you can now expand your image with AI!

Here’s me doing it for one of my images:

Before expanding, the image is a close-up of my face.

After expansion, it includes my full head and suit—super useful for fixing overly zoomed-in shots.

    I love it!

    Pros

    • The most accurate AI results I’ve seen
    • Expand images with AI edits
    • Create custom images with personalized instructions
    • Remove backgrounds effortlessly
    • Fix teeth and eyes with a brush tool

    Cons

    • Slow processing—up to 2 hours

    4. DreamWave AI

DreamWave AI creates both artistic and realistic profile pictures with advanced AI and customization options.

I tested it so you don’t have to—let’s check out my results and thoughts!

    Key features

    • Artistic & realistic styles for diverse looks
    • Advanced AI for high-quality images
    • Detailed customization to match your style
    • Perfect for social media & professional use

    My experience and results

Using DreamWave is just as easy as the others—upload your images and wait.

Here’s what my results looked like:

    And this:

To put a comparsion out there too, here are the original images I used:

One feature I love about DreamWave AI is its built-in editing tools.

Super handy for fixing AI-generated quirks—like weird teeth or eyes!

For example, here’s a before-and-after shot where I used AI to make my teeth look more natural:

In the first image, you can see how my teeth looked weird and messed up—thanks to the AI.

But after using the editing feature, the second image looks much more realistic.

That being said, DreamWave is a great profile picture maker. It generates various images with different styles, lighting, clothing, and poses, plus lets you fix issues with AI editing.

    Pros

    • AI editing to fix artifacts for free
    • Free trial (with a queue) to request a bunch of AI images (though it takes days)
    • Realistic images with diverse poses, clothing, and attire

    Cons

    • More inaccuracies than the top tools, especially with teeth and eyes
    • Slow—free trial takes days, paid plans take 30–120 minutes
    • Costly since there’s no “instant free trial”

    Pricing

    • Free: $0 (with a long queue)
    • Starter: $35
    • Standard: $59
    • Best Value: $99

Profile Bakery makes creating profile pictures quick and easy. You can choose from various styles and customize backgrounds and outfits.

Let’s check out my results with it!

    Key features

    Here are the core features:

    • Multiple styles, including professional and creative
    • Simple upload and generation process
    • Quick delivery of your profile pictures
    • Customizable features like background and attire changes

    My experience and results

Profile Bakery is super easy to use. Just follow these instructions for the images you should upload:

Once you’ve uploaded your images, just send them and wait.

In about an hour or two, you’ll get an email with a link to view your photos.

Here are my example AI-generated profile photos:

Here are the original images I used for comparison:

Here are more AI-generated profile images:

This one’s pretty good with lighting, background, and attire, but my features aren’t 100% accurate. My hair and beard are much darker in real life.

Also, this tool doesn’t allow direct image editing like others since the images are in a Google Drive folder.

    Pros

    • Fast results—get your images in hours, no need to wait for a photographer
    • Somewhat realistic and nice-looking results with different facial expressions

    Cons

    • Google Drive share with no built-in editing options for mismatched images
    • The UI is a bit confusing—hard to find images and edit them, plus extra features being pushed for sale
    • Results aren’t that great compared to other similar tools

Before Using AI Profile Picture Generators

When using an AI profile picture generator, it’s important to understand what to expect to get the best results.

These tools work by analyzing your inputs, such as a photo or description of the type of look you want, and then creating a headshot that matches.

You might be asked to upload a clear image or choose specific preferences about the style, background, or vibe you’re aiming for.

Here are images I usually use:

As you can see, those are all well-lit and clear photos that show exactly what I look like. If you don’t have a lot of images in your camera roll, this can be a bit of a hassle.

Also, AI profile picture generators aren’t always perfect.

While AI profile picture generators can be impressive, they aren’t always perfect.

Sometimes, the generated image might not fully capture your unique features or the expression you had in mind.

It can also be tricky for the AI to get details like skin tone or lighting just right, and the background might not always match your vision.

And sometimes the images just look off, despite there being no clear reason why. There might just be an artificial vibe.

Try adjusting your inputs or uploading a higher-quality reference image for optimal results.

It may take a few attempts to get the look you’re after, but overall, an AI profile picture generator is a quick and easy way to create a polished, professional image—even if it’s not always exactly as you imagined.

Aragon AI Headshots Review: Is It Worth It?

I’ve tested over 25 AI headshot generators.

In this post, I will review Aragon AI headshots and compare them with the best tools I’ve tested to see if it’s worth it.

    Let’s start!

Disclaimer: This post has affiliate links at no cost to you.

👉 Check my up-to-date list of the best AI headshot generators.

Ease of Use & User Experience

Aragon AI is easy to use.

Just upload selfies, choose your style, and let the AI handle the rest.

Generating headshots takes between 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the plan.

The results look professional, and it’s much cheaper than a traditional photoshoot.

Some images might look a bit artificial, but overall, it’s a fast, convenient way to get high-quality headshots without much effort.

Speaking of results, let me show you what I got next.

Results, Quality & Accuracy of Headshots

Here’s my favorite AI headshot that I got from this tool:

Notice that it’s not just one image you get but a whole bunch more.

Here are more headshots that the AI created for me:

    That’s pretty cool, huh?

Aragon AI produces headshots that are often indistinguishable from professional photos.

However, I’ve seen a lot of issues with facial distortions, especially around the eyes and other features.

For example, in this photo, I look tired.

Also, sometimes my teeth and lips are completely messed up.

That being said, I think Aragon AI is not the best AI headshot generator.

There are much better alternatives, such as BetterPic.io — the number one best AI headshot generator I’ve ever tried.

    Try BetterPic.io instead

    Customization & Style Options

Aragon AI offers multiple styles for headshots, including corporate, creative, and casual options.

You can customize aspects such as backgrounds, poses, and outfits to match your preferences.

While the platform provides tools for adjusting these elements, it doesn’t support manual fine-tuning of facial expressions.

After generating your headshots, you can use Aragon AI’s photo editor to make more adjustments.

    Speed & Processing Time

I tested Aragon AI, and it was fast.

My headshots were ready in about 30 minutes with the premium plan, while the cheaper options took closer to an hour. Compared to other AI tools, it’s one of the faster options.

There are no major upload limits, but the number of downloads depends on the plan you choose.

    Pricing & Value for Money

    Starter – $35

    • 40 headshots, 120 min
    • 1 attire, 1 background
    • Standard resolution

    Basic – $45

    • 60 headshots, 60 min
    • 2 attires, 2 backgrounds
    • Standard resolution

    Premium – $75

    • 100 headshots, 60 min
    • All attires & backgrounds
    • Enhanced resolution

I see Aragon AI’s pricing as reasonable for the quality it delivers. Traditional photoshoots can cost hundreds, while Aragon AI’s packages range from $35 to $75, offering different levels of customization and resolution.

There are no hidden costs, upsells, or subscriptions—just a one-time payment.

However, there’s no free version. The paid options provide enough value for professional headshots.

    Pros & Cons

    Pros:
    ✅ Lots of results

    ✅ Great customization features

✅ Versatility in the AI headshots

    Cons:
    ❌ Distorted and morphed headshots

    ❌ Most images are unusable

❌ Customizations can’t save bad photos no matter what you do

Final Verdict: Is It Worth It?

I like Aragon AI. It’s a good tool and definitely in the top 10 of the best AI headshots generators I’ve tested.

However, it’s far behind the top 3 that I’ve tried. The results aren’t nearly as good, if I’m honest.

    Rating: 3.9/5

  • 6 Best Free AI Headshot Generators for 2025

6 Best Free AI Headshot Generators for 2025

Tired AI headshot generators always costing nearly $50?

This is a complete list of the best free AI headshot generators.

Towards the end, I will also compare the free headshots with paid ones, as I’ve spent over $2,000 on those.

    Let’s start!

    1. HeadshotMaster.io

HeadshotMaster.io is a free AI tool that turns selfies into pro headshots.

It’s the best free headshot generator I’ve tried.

You get various styles for resumes, LinkedIn, and more—no sign-up needed and great privacy.

It’s super fast, taking just around 2 minutes to use.

Let me show you the results I got.

    My Experience

Let me show you how to use it and the results I got.

Using HeadshotMaster is simple—just answer a few questions about yourself.

Then upload an image of yourself to the view.

    Then wait:

In just 2 minutes, the AI generates your headshots.

Here are my results, for example:

    That’s pretty cool, right?

For example, here’s a real picture of me:

    Pretty close, huh?

    Here are more images:

    There’s one issue, though.

The AI images still look a bit too much like 3D characters and more like art than actual photos.

So, I wouldn’t recommend free AI headshot generators. Paid ones are the only way to get truly usable results.

I’ve created a full list here.

Let’s continue with the list because we have a bunch more free tools.

    ⭐ My Grade ⭐

    • Realistic: 2.7/5
    • Customizable: 1.5/5
    • Waiting time: 5/5
    • Total: 2.7/5

    2. AIEase

There’s another free AI headshot generator that works differently. It’s the fastest and easiest to use, but the results match that.

    Still, your experience might differ.

Let me show you what I got.

    My Experience

    First, pick a style:

    Then upload your image:

After 20 seconds, you’ll see your AI headshots.

Once again, it’s a fun experiment, but it doesn’t look much like me. There are some traits, but it’s clearly more of a 3D character than a realistic image.

    ⭐ My Grade ⭐

    • Realistic: 2.5/5
    • Customizable: 0/5
    • Waiting time: 5/5
    • Total: 2.3/5

    3. HeadshotPro

    Next up is HeadshotPro.

This generator doesn’t create your face—it removes the background and replaces it with something else.

Let me show you the results.

    My Results

Here’s my favorite AI headshot it created:

In this case, the lighting of my original images fits the background pretty well.

Of course, there are more backgrounds to choose from:

Keep in mind, this isn’t really a headshot generator since it doesn’t create your face.

It uses AI to remove the background and replace it with a new one.

So it’s more of a background replacer tool.

For this reason, I won’t give it a grade because it’s not creating the images similar to other headshot makers do.

    4. PFPMaker

PFPMaker is another background-changing headshot generator. It uses AI to detect edges in your images and swaps the background based on that.

    My Results

    Here are my results:

To use it, upload an image to this view:

Then wait for 10 seconds or less…

    And there you go:

Be sure to click on your headshots to make customizations, like adjusting lighting and changing backgrounds.

    5 ChatGPT + AIFaceSwap

    ChatGPT said:

Let me show you a smart way to make free headshots with more control over the final look.

The trick is to use two tools together: ChatGPT and AI FaceSwapper.

    Here’s how it works:

    1. Generate a base image with AI.
    2. Take a selfie.
    3. Swap your face with the AI image.
    4. Repeat until you get the perfect result.

    Easy and effective!

Here’s an example I made using ChatGPT.

    ChatGPT said:

I’m not done yet because I’ve only completed the first part.

Next, I’ll merge the face from this image with my actual selfie.

To do this for free, use a tool like aifaceswap.io.

Upload the AI-generated image as the “Original image” and your selfie as the “Face image.”

    It’s that simple.

Here, I’ve dragged and dropped both images into the view:

    Here’s what I got:

Pretty cool, right? Looks a lot like me — at least close enough!

    For better headshots:

    • Take more selfies and test different ones.
    • Experiment with the ChatGPT prompt to fine-tune the AI image.

    Hope you like it.

    6. Canva Headshot Generator

Canva also has an AI headshot generator.

But I’ve got to be honest—it’s pretty bad.

The images it creates don’t look like me at all. I’m mentioning it because it ranks high for keywords like AI headshot generator, and a lot of people use it.

I want to show that this is not what these tools do.

So, let me show you how Canva sees me:

That’s absolutely terrible. It looks like one of those 2010 Instagram photos where someone applied all the filters to make it look “cooler.”

I really hope I don’t look like that.

It’s not worth it—it’s just a waste of time.

Even though Canva is a great tool otherwise, this headshot generator is awful, even for being free.

    ⭐ My Grade ⭐

    • Realistic: 1.0/5
    • Customizable: 0/5
    • Waiting time: 5/5
    • Total: 1.1/5

    Free vs. Paid AI Headshots

Let’s be honest—free AI headshots are nothing compared to the best paid ones.

My favorite paid AI headshot generator is BetterPic.

Here’s the kind of result BetterPic gave me:

👉 Try BetterPic— Get 10% off with code JALLI10

    My Recommendation

Use paid AI headshot generators if you want to use them in social media.

My favorite headshot generator is BetterPic.

The free tools are good for fun and demonstration but not really applicable to anything else.

  • DreamWave AI Review: The Best AI Portrait Generator?

DreamWave is a popular AI headshot generator. In fact, I believe it’s the most popular tool in this space.

But let’s see if it’s worth the hype.

In this post, I will show you my headshot results with DreamWave AI. I will also compare with other similar tools.

Disclaimer: This post has affiliate links at no cost to you.

👉 Check the up-to-date list for the best AI headshot generator.

Ease of Use & User Experience

DreamWave AI guides you through uploading photos and generating headshots with clear instructions.

You don’t really need to watch a tutorial on how to use it.

You must create an account with an email and password to use the service.

Then just drag and drop some images of yourself to the view, answer a couple of questions, and wait.

Headshots take around two hours to generate but may vary based on server load and photo quantity.

Also, please be prepared to spend at least 10-20 minutes finding clear images of yourself to be used.

Results, Quality & Accuracy of Headshots

Here’s my favorite AI headshot that I got from DreamWave AI:

It’s pretty much exactly like me! It’s realistic and nice-looking all the way. Perhaps the only problem is the smoothness in the image that makes it look as if this was taken through some filter.

Also, it’s not just one image you get but a whole bunch more. I think I got almost 200 AI headshots or something like that.

    Here are some more results:

These images are pretty realistic. But I have to admit right off the bat that I’ve received way better results with other similar tools.

In DreamWave, the results are a bit “out of place” and artificial. There are some strange AI-generated paths and traces in the skin. Also, the images are way too smooth and look like they’ve been processed by a filter.

Just as an example, let’s compare the DreamWave results with BetterPic (which is my favorite tool):

BetterPic AI headshots are so much better

If you ask me, I recommend using BetterPic instead of DreamWave. Also, BetterPic has all the customization features that are missing from DreamWave.

Try BetterPic AI—get 10% off with code JALLI10

    Customization & Style Options

DreamWave AI offers a variety of headshot styles, including corporate, creative, and casual.

You can’t directly tweak facial expressions.

However, you can do basic edits to your images, such as to remove blemishes and change backgrounds.

Also, you can fix teeth and skin issues that are common in AI headshots.

In this sense, DreamWave is better than most AI headshot generators because it lets you edit your images quite well.

However, this can’t really save bad images in my experience.

The teeth-fix feature is good, but other edits are just icing on the cake.

If the image is bad to begin with, there’s nothing you can do about it really.

    Speed & Processing Time

DreamWave AI processes images in about 1 to 2 hours.

It’s generally slower than some competitors that deliver results in under an hour.

There are no strict limits on downloads, but you must upload at least five photos to generate headshots. This is more lenient than some tools that require up to 15 mandatory images.

    Pricing & Value for Money

    • Free – $0, 16-day wait, 20 photos, no redos
    • Starter – $35, 2-hour wait, 120 photos, no redos
    • Standard – $59, 2-hour wait, 250 photos, 1 free redo
    • Best Value – $99, 2-hour wait, 500 photos, 2 free redos, Photoshop touch-ups

This tool is a bit pricey but includes AI editing and redos in higher plans.

There aren’t necessarily hidden fees, but there are no redos unless you pay, except in premium plans.

Free plan is very slow and limited; paid plans are better for serious use.

    Pros & Cons

    Pros:
✅ Customization features better than almost any other similar tool

    ✅ Semi-realistic results

✅ Versatile results and a lot of images

    Cons:
❌ Artificial vibe in most images

❌ Once the image comes out bad, you can’t really fix it—not even with the edits

❌ Pricey compared to other similar but way better tools

👉 Check my up-to-date list of the best AI headshot generators.

Final Verdict: Is It Worth It?

I like DreamWave. It’s definitely in the top 10 of the tools I’ve tested. Especially if you compare it with free tools, the results are on a next level.

Aragon AI Review: Best Professional AI Headshots?

I paid for Aragon AI headshots so you don’t have to.

In this post, I’ll compare my results with other AI headshot generators.

    Let’s start!

Disclaimer: This post has affiliate links at no cost to you.

    My results

Here are the actual images I sent to Aragon AI, so you can compare them:

And here are the AI-generated headshots:

I got 60 images in total, but I won’t include all of them to keep it short. You can get a good idea from the results above.

I like these images because they’re realistic and versatile. They show me in different poses and outfits.

Here are some AI-generated headshots next to my real images:

As you can see, they’re pretty close.

The first and second images are decent.

But the last one isn’t great. I look tired, my skin looks like a 3D render, and my shirt is dull.

There are also some bigger issues with a few of the images.

Just as an example, take a look at this one:

    ChatGPT said:

I don’t know about you, but to me, it looks like I’m holding up a middle finger to the side…

After looking at these images for a bit, one thing stands out: Most of them look clearly AI-generated.

Luckily, there are better options. In the next section, I’ll share a list of them, along with their results.

    Aragon Alternatives

    1. BetterPic

BetterPic creates sharp, realistic images with natural-looking skin, teeth, and eyes.

    Here’s a before-and-after image I got using it:

BetterPic also lets you request human edits on your images.

Just pick an image and ask for changes, and a professional photo editor will handle the rest.

This is great for teams because you’re guaranteed that at least one image will turn out well.

    👉 Try BetterPic

    2. The Multiverse AI

If you want more customization, check out The Multiverse AI as an Aragon alternative.

It doesn’t just create headshots; you can also tell the AI what type of headshots you want.

For example, I asked it to create an image of me in a sunset in Spain:

Isn’t that cool? You can fully customize your images to fit your needs, whether it’s for yourself or your team, making them look consistent and unique.

    👉 Try The Multiverse AI

    3. PortraitPal

If you’re after social media pictures with a vintage vibe, give PortraitPal a try. It’s a great Aragon AI alternative as well.

Here’s an image it created for me:

The images look realistic, yet they have a calm, vintage vibe from the past.

    Here are a few more:

The only downside is that some images are a bit too smooth and blurry, which gives them away—kind of like Aragon AI.

Still, it’s an awesome tool that’s easy to use. It doesn’t let you edit your images, but the results are usually so good that you won’t need to.

    How to Use Aragon AI

Let me show you the workflow with Aragon and how to create your headshots (if you decide not to use the alternatives).

First, head over to this page. Click on “Create your headshots now.”

First, sign up. I used Google to save myself the hassle.

Specify age, gender eye color hair color, and ethnicity:

Then pick a style for your Aragon AI headshots:

It’s time to upload your images.

But before you do that, please read the instructions.

The key is to keep your images clear and show your face without making any exaggerated expressions. Also, avoid using repetitive images—don’t just take a set of selfies all at once.

Next, drag and drop your images into the view:

Then, confirm your details and hit “Submit.” After that, you’ll just need to wait for the AI to process your photos.

    This takes about 20–40 minutes.

You’ll get an email like this once the AI headshots are ready. This is handy because you don’t need to wait for the AI to process.

Just click the link to view the pictures and enjoy.

If you want to make changes, remember you can use the AI editor feature.

These features let you change the background, remove artifacts, upload a new background, and more.

Isn’t that cool? It’s amazing how far AI has come in just a few years.

    Pros

    • Fast! It only took 30 minutes for me to generate my AI headshots. Most AI generators take 1–3 hours.
    • Realistic. The AI headshots look superb. Especially at a distance. Despite some of them failing, most of them look very realistic.
    • AI edits. If you want to make small changes to your headshots, you can use the AI editor. That’s handy to fix subtle things.
    • Cheaper than a photographer. If you think about it, a traditional photographer takes time and money. You might have to wait for weeks before they have time to arrive and then you need to wait for the post-processing, and on top of that, you have to pay a lot more.

    Cons

    • Too artificial. Some images are a bit too smooth or have a blank stare that gives a sensation of it being AI.
    • Costly. Despite there not being any good free AI headshot generators right now, having to pay $30+ for headshots is not for everyone.
    • Better alternatives exist. Even though I think Aragon is one of the best AI headshot tools I’ve tried, there are a couple of better tools for the same (or similar) price.

    To take home

    Aragon AI is incredible.

Who would have imagined just two years ago that you could create professional selfies and photoshoots with AI in minutes?

However, since I’ve tested other tools, I have to admit it’s not the best out there.

For example, in my experience, BetterPic provides better results and offers a human editor who can manually edit any failed images.

    7. DreamWave

DreamWave is a mid-tier AI headshot generator.

It’s not the worst I’ve tried but definitely not the best. However, because AI is always a bit of a dice roll, I included it on the list because it might just produce you the best results as this is all based on opinion.

The results look like me a lot. However, there are some artifacts and I look tired in every image. Also, there’s a strange “smooth” filter in every AI headshot.

    8. Supawork AI

Last but not least, I decided to include an entirely free AI headshot generator on the list.

AI Headshot Generator Free & No Sign Up

Most AI headshot generators are paid and ask you to sign up.

However, there’s one tool that doesn’t.

👉 This tool is called AIEase.ai.

Obviously, the results aren’t that great, but that’s a sacrifice you have to make for using a free no-sign-up tool.

    How to Use It

    Just open up this page.

Then wait for about 30 seconds.

  • 4 Best AI Headshot Generators for Real Estate Agents

If you’re a real estate agent, you need a professional headshot.

However, hiring a photographer takes time, money, and it’s stressful.

That’s where AI comes in handy.

I’ve spent over $2,000 on AI headshot generators—tools that turn your selfies into professional pictures like this:

In this post, I will show you the best AI headshot generators for real estate agents to save your time and money.

Disclaimer: This post has affiliate links at no cost to you.

    1. BetterPic

BetterPic is hands down the best AI headshot generator for real estate agents I’ve tried.

It turns your selfies to AI photos that look 100% like you.

Here’s one of my favorite headshots I got from this AI tool:

Ease of Use & User Experience

BetterPic super is easy to use.

If you’ve never used a headshot generator, the idea is simple:

    1. Sign up.
    2. Pick a plan.
    3. Upload images.
    4. Wait.
    5. Enjoy your headshots.

This requires about 15 minutes of your time and about an hour for the AI to create the photos.

Also, you don’t just get one or two styles of images, but you get hundreds of those. This is good for real estate agents.

Also, you can edit your AI headshots easily. For example, if you want to change your clothing with it, that’s possible too.

Results, Quality & Accuracy of Headshots

Here’s my favorite real estate agent headshot I got from BetterPic:

It’s indistinguishable from the real me. That is so cool! In fact, that’s my LinkedIn picture right now.

These images are awesome. I sent them to my mates and family—they couldn’t believe they weren’t real.

AI images are always a dice roll. No AI photoshoot is perfect, and results vary.

That’s why there are customization features—change backgrounds, clothes, eye color, skin, and more. Heck, there’s even a human edit feature. I’ll get to that in a second.

The human editor can tweak facial expressions and features too.

I even asked them to remove a necklace from my image.

    Pretty cool, right?

This is great for team headshots, ensuring everyone gets at least one image they’re happy with.

Just note—this feature is only in the Expert plan.

For the quality, the pricing is fair. Many tools charge the same but lack customizations or refunds.

No hidden fees, but edits cost credits, which you can buy as needed.

Let’s see what kinds of results I got with it.

Results, Quality & Accuracy of Headshots

Here’s one of my favorite AI headshots I got from HeadshotsByAI:

Definitely something one could use as a real estate agent, right?

It looks sharp, realistic, and exactly like me.

There are only small artifacts or details that could give it away that it’s an AI. But you have to look at it very close to spot those.

Here’s another really good-looking image I got from it:

The only issue with AI headshots is they can sometimes look a bit morphed, overly smooth, or have a blank stare.

But they’ve improved a lot. When I first tried them in early 2024, teeth, lips, and fingers were way off.

These days ther results look actually good.

    👉 Try HeadshotsByAI

    Customization & Style Options

HeadshotsByAI doesn’t offer customization, which is a downside for me.

The results are epic, but I see customizations as a key part of the process.

    Pricing & Value for Money

The results are insanely good—definitely top 3 of the tools I’ve tested.

Plus, all plans are one-time fees—no subscriptions or hidden costs.

    3 InstaHeadshots AI

InstaHeadshots is one of the best AI headshot generators out there. Especially for casual and formal real estate photos.

It transforms selfies into professional-looking images.

For example, here’s a before-and-after image I got from InstaHeadshots:

Ease of Use & User Experience

Using InstaHeadshots is easy. Just sign up, upload your images, and wait.

The biggest challenge is finding real images of yourself that meet the criteria—clear, well-lit, and with no other people in the background.

You’ll probably spend 10-20 minutes searching your camera roll or taking multiple selfies in different lighting and outfits.

Anyway, here’s how you can create your InstaHeadshots AI headshots:

    1. Take a couple of selfies.
    2. Sign up to InstaHeadshots.
    3. Upload the selfies.
    4. Answer a couple of questions.
    5. Wait for about an hour.
    6. Get your AI headshots.

This is an online tool, so there’s no installation required.

The AI headshots are generated remotely on InstaHeadshots’ servers, so you won’t have to wait for them to generate either. You can just close the window or your device altogether and come back once you receive the email that the headshots are ready.

One thing that confused me, though, was the watermarks on the paid headshots.

Yes, the paid headshots do have a watermark, but don’t worry—it disappears once you download them.

The watermark is there to protect customers. If you’re not happy with the headshots, you can get a refund, and the team can ensure you’re not using them for free.

Downloading the images signals that you’re satisfied and not asking for a refund.

    👉 Try InstaHeadshots

Results, Quality & Accuracy of Headshots

Here’s my favorite real estate agent AI headshot from this tool:

You don’t just get one image—you get a whole bunch more.

Here are more headshots the AI created for me:

    These images look incredibly accurate!

In fact, InstaHeadshots is one of my favorite AI headshot generators.

The only issues are that a few images can be slightly morphed, and there might be issues with teeth, lips, or fingers.

Sometimes the stare can feel a bit blank.

The lack of customization is why it’s not my absolute favorite tool.

    Customization & Style Options

Unfortunately, InstaHeadshots doesn’t let you customize your images.

You can choose from different styles, but there’s no direct control over the headshots you get—they’ll always be somewhat random.

For example, if your inputs are mostly selfies, your headshots will mostly be selfies too, which affects the final results.

    👉 Try InstaHeadshots

    Pricing & Value for Money

InstaHeadshots is one of the more expensive AI headshot generators I’ve tested, with the cheapest plan starting at $49.

That said, the results are top-notch—I’d place this in the top 3 of the tools I’ve tried, so the value for money is definitely there.

The big downside is the lack of customization, which some other tools offer for under $50.

But compared to free AI headshots, the difference is like night and day.

For example, here’s a free headshot:

While there’s nothing inherently bad about this free headshot, it’s just not on the same level as the paid ones.

On a closer look, I appear more like a 3D character.

Now, compare this to the paid InstaHeadshots AI headshots, and you can really see the difference.

This headshot actually looks like me.

In fact, when I showed these paid ones to my mates, they had a hard time believing it wasn’t a real image.

    👉 Try InstaHeadshots

    Pros & Cons

    Pros:
✅ One of the best tools when it comes to results

✅ Fast and easy to try

✅ Versatile headshots in different clothing, lighting and more

    Cons:
    ❌ Most expensive

    ❌ No customizations

Final Verdict: Is It Worth It?

The AI real estate headshots are among the best that I’ve tried when it comes to using InstaHeadshots.

    Rating: 4.4/5

But because of the lack of the customization features, it’s not my favorite tool on the list.

    4. PortraitPal

PortraitPal is a paid AI headshot generator that transforms your selfies into professional, vintage-style headshots that resemble you.

For example, here’s a before-and-after image I got from PortraitPal:

    portraitpal ai headshots before after

Ease of Use & User Experience

Using PortraitPal is simple and requires no tech skills.

It’s an online AI tool that works directly in your browser.

    portraitpal homepage

The biggest challenge is finding clear, well-lit photos of yourself with no one else in the background.

You’ll likely spend 10–20 minutes searching your camera roll or taking new selfies in various lighting and outfits.

    Here’s how it works:

    1. Take a bunch of selfies.
    2. Sign up to PortraitPal.
    3. Upload the selfies.
    4. Answer a couple of questions.
    5. Wait for about 60 minutes.
    6. Get your AI headshots.
    portraitpal upload images

Since it’s an online tool, there’s nothing to install. The AI generates your headshots remotely on PortraitPal’s servers.

You’ll receive an email when they’re ready—no waiting around.

Results, Quality & Accuracy of Headshots

Here’s one of my favorite AI headshots:

The quality isn’t sharp because I zoomed in for the before-and-after comparison.

As a full image, though, this picture looks really nice.

    my ai headshots

You don’t just get one image—you get a whole set of headshots.

Here are more headshots the AI created for me:

    more ai headshots

These images look pretty much like me, at least from a distance.

The downside is that some images can appear slightly morphed, and you might notice issues with teeth, lips, and fingers.

The closer you look, the more they start to seem a bit fake.

For example, look at this picture:

    my example headshot

At first glance, this looks good.

But the longer you look, the less real it seems. Zoom in, and the “AI fakeness” becomes more obvious.

Another downside is that this tool doesn’t allow customizations—you have to be satisfied with what you get.

    Customization & Style Options

Unfortunately, PortraitPal only creates your headshots and doesn’t allow any customization.

There’s no way to control the headshots you get.

This is a big miss for me. With AI, there’s always uncertainty, and I believe you should be able to control the outputs.

    Pricing & Value for Money

    portraitpal pricing

PortraitPal is a paid tool, with plans starting at $35, which is typical for other paid tools I’ve tested.

However, the value for money isn’t that high for me. I’ve tested similar tools, and for example, BetterPic.io has the same price but offers much better results and customization.

That said, when compared to free AI headshots, the difference is like night and day.

For example, here’s a free headshot:

    free ai headshot comparison

In this image, I look more like a 3D character or a painting, which isn’t ideal!

When you compare this with the paid PortraitPal AI headshots, the difference is clear.

    before after ai headshots

This headshot actually looks like me and less like a 3D-rendered character.

    👉 Try PortraitPal here

    Pros & Cons

    Pros:
    ✅ Great vintage-style AI images

✅ Fast and easy to use

✅ Versatile results in different environments, clothes, and whatnot

    Cons:
❌ Not the best tool, you get better results for same price

❌ No customizations on your AI headshots

Final Verdict: Is It Worth It?

I like PortraitPal. The results are mostly realistic or at least semi-realistic. Also, the headshots have a vintage vibe.

    Rating: 4.1/5

However, it’s a bit of a pricey product. Also, there are no customization features.

That’s why my top recommendation is a competing product, BetterPic.io.

Also, it’s not just one image you get but a whole bunch more.

Here are some more headshots I got back from it:

These are so realistic, sharp, and versatile.

I like the fact that it nailed those “public speaking” headshot because I think no other tools (except for Aragon perhaps) allows you to create those.

The only problem I have is that the closer you look at the headshots, the more fake some appear. This is not an issue with all of them, but I’d say 80-90% of the results fall into this category.

Notice, however, that this tool lets you edit your headshots.

For example, here I’m changing the background of my AI headshot with a cafe background.

    That’s handy!

However, the edits aren’t perfect. You can only customize the backgrounds and clothing but not really change the images. If it’s a bad one to begin with, it will remain bad.

    Customization & Style Options

HeadshotPro offers a bunch of headshot styles, including corporate, creative, and casual options.

You can choose from various backgrounds and outfits to customize your headshots.

However, you cannot tweak facial expressions directly. In fact, there’s no AI headshot generator that would let you do this right now.

The level of control over the final results is limited. You can only choose from the generated headshots based on your initial preferences.

For example, I asked the AI to edit this image again:

But here’s what I got back:

That’s essentially a different image. It’s nothing like that original one was. So that was a bit of a disappointment. The edits are basically just creating an entirely new headshot not like the initial one.

    Speed & Processing Time

It typically takes a few hours to process images with HeadshotPro, though it can be slower during high-demand periods.

Compared to competitors, the processing speed is generally on par, though some services may offer faster turnaround times.

    Pricing & Value for Money

    • Basic: $29
    • Professional: $39
    • Executive: $59

    Pros & Cons

    Pros:
    ✅ Super realistic results

    ✅ High quality results

    ✅ Faster than a photographer

    ✅ Good customization features

    Cons:
❌ Edits create new images—not edit the existing ones

❌ Can be pricey for some

❌ Some images are “artificial” and not too realistic

Final Verdict: Is It Worth It?

I like HeadshotPro. It’s one of the best tools out there right now.

    Rating: 4.4/5

However, my favorite headshot generator is still BetterPic.io.

It’s simply on its own league. You can do human edits, skin correction, eye color changes, and it also gives the most realistic results.

    AI SuitUp Review (2025)

In this post, I will review AI SuitUp headshots and compare it with the best headshot generators I’ve tested.

    Short Summary

AI SuitUp is an AI headshot generator that takes your regular selfies and turns those into professional headshots.

Here’s one example of an image I got from AI SuitUp:

In my books, AI SuitUp is good, but not the best.

For me, BetterPic gives the best results. Also, it has the customization options that AI SuitUp doesn’t.

That being said, let me show you my results with AI SuitUp, how it works, and more.

Ease of Use & User Experience

The interface is clean, easy to navigate, and intuitive. This makes it simple to upload photos and customize the output.

It typically takes a few hours to generate the headshots, but it can be faster depending on the service load.

There’s a quick turnaround time, cost-effectiveness, and strong privacy practices like deleting images after 30 days.

On the downside, the quality of the input photo heavily impacts the results, and there are limited options for customization beyond the basic templates.

Results, Quality & Accuracy of Headshots

Here’s my favorite AI headshot that I got from this tool:

Also, it’s not just one image you get but a whole bunch more.

Here are more headshots that the AI created for me:

The AI headshots look good and pretty much like me.

But some of them are a bit too smooth or artificial.

There are no key issues with facial distortions or weird artifacts, though the results can sometimes feel slightly over-processed.

The headshots are high-resolution and professional-looking, but there’s no customization. This is a big miss. There’s not much control over how the final image turns out.

That being said, my favorite AI headshot generator is BetterPic.

Compared to tools like BetterPic, AI SuitUp falls short.

BetterPic offers more customization, human edits, and overall a more refined, realistic output. It’s just leaps and bounds ahead in terms of flexibility and quality.

For example, here’s an image I got from BetterPic:

    That’s just so good.

Also, the customization options are so good.

    Customization & Style Options

AI SuitUp offers a few basic styles like corporate and casual, but there’s limited variety.

You can’t tweak facial expressions or backgrounds, and outfit customization is also minimal—just preset options to choose from.

The level of control is quite low.

Once the headshot is generated, you can’t re-edit or refine it. This is where it falls short compared to tools like BetterPic, which offers much more flexibility.

    Speed & Processing Time

It typically takes a few hours to process images, though it can vary depending on demand.

Compared to competitors, it’s one the slower side.

Usually, I get my headshots in just 30-60 minutes.

    Pricing & Value for Money

    ChatGPT said:

AI SuitUp offers three pricing plans:

    • Basic: $59 (now $27), includes 50 headshots at 768×768 resolution with a 6-hour turnaround time.
    • Professional: $69 (now $37), includes 100 headshots at 1024×1024 resolution with a 3-hour turnaround time.
    • Executive: $99 (now $57), includes 150 headshots at 1024×1024 resolution, exclusive styles, and a 1-hour turnaround time.

All plans come with a 100% money-back guarantee.

The pricing is reasonable for the quality, but the lack of customization might make it feel overpriced.

There are no hidden costs or upsells.

    Pros & Cons

    Pros:
    ✅ Realistic results

    ✅ Relatively fast

    ✅ Easy to use

    Cons:
    ❌ No customization

❌ Some images are too “artificial” and hence unrealistic.
